I have my browser's startpage (AKA the default home page) set to home.kenthu.net.  On it, I have links to frequently-visited pages such as the Python documentation and Slashdot.

I find this system to be superior to simply using bookmarks.  For example, I read articles from news sites every day.  Instead of opening a new tab and finding the site in my bookmark system, I just open my startpage and CTRL-SHIFT-click on each link (this opens each link in a background tab in Mozilla).

The startpage also has more than 15 of my most-used search forms adapted from sites like All Music Guide, Rotten Tomatoes, and Yahoo! Maps.
